The props that were used in creating our teaser trailer were:

• A car- the main character was looking to get into his car


• 3 Guns-the two villains have a gun each when they kill the main character in the precognition and the main character has one in the sequence after the precognition.

• Smart attire worn by the main character. Aiming to show he has an office job and has to dress smart

Ben Dowling- this is the main character of the teaser trailer. He is the character that has the precognition and is the one that realises that he has to change the future.

Charlie Dymond- This is the character that is the reason why the main character has to change the future during his precognition. This is the character seen as the villain.

Dan Read- This is also the character that is the reason why the main character has to change the future during his precognition. This is also seen as the villain.

Introduction

There were 10 diferent options to choose from for our coursework.
The option that we chose was to:
A promotion package for a release of a new film, to include a teaser trailer, together with two of the following three options:

• A website homepage for the film
• A film magazine cover, featuring the film
• A poster for the film

from these 3 options, we have chose to include a film managzine cover and a film poster. as we are in a group of 3 we have decided to create one teaser trailer between us, one film magazine cover between us and a film poster each.

Scenery

The scenery we have decided to shoot our trailer in is a modern day work place. We will use a futuristic looking scenery that will look ahead of its time. We have decided to set the filming sequence late at night.

Plan 2

The coursework option that i have decided to choose is the teaser trailer for an action movie. This is the main task, the other 2 tasks which need to be completed is a movie poster and a magazine cover. This project is going to be completed in a group of 3. the other 2 people in the group are Dan Read and Sam Turner. We have decided on teh film being called 'Precognition'. This is the knowledge of an event before it occurs, it is the ability to foresee the future and predict future events. This is the main theme of our movie trailer.

Plan

We are planning to film the trailer sequence with a large number of scenes that flicker through each one in a fast paced tempo. The aim is to show a preview of the movie by showing a number of clips which would intice the viewer into wanting to see more.
The trailer will not have any speaking directly from teh scenes but will include a voiceover naration which will give a brief explanation on what has happend.

Stage 1, pre production

At this stage in the project, we have completed our research, decided on a name for the movie trailer, filmed some clips that can be worked with and edited and have also produced a powerpoint presentation showing our research which we have taken. The name of the film is 'Precognition'. and the plot follows a man that survives an accident and as a result of the accident he develops some abnormal abilities. The definition of Precognition is- the knowledge of an event before it occurs, it is the ability to foresee the future and predict future events.
